Another historic moment! When a eye catcher photo moment takes places, DO IT, or it's gone for ever . . . Since I could not make the Manchester, NH Campaign Rally.

I photographed it on my flat screen TV. One camera, one lens, all hand held. I shot with my micro 4/3rds Olympus OMD M1 MK ll and LEICA endorsed, 42.5mm = 85mm f1.2 a k**ler lens!

All TV screens scan! If you use a fast shutter-speed on your camera say 1/125sec or faster, you will capture black horizontal lines on your picture.

The reason you cannot see these lines while watching TV, is that your brain corrects the image, the TV is constantly scanning!

My camera was set on shutter-priority 1/20sec, all photos. Aperture went wherever automaticly! AP

Hey, it's a good post for those who might have some use for a TV shot. Back in wet photography day, I shot TV screen for a newsletter that covered popular culture. I've used shots from TV for composites. And, if you wanted a shot of a person with a TV in the frame, you would now know what shutter speed you had to use.

Thanks, AP.

Those who posted h**e, I guess "inclusive" means including those who agree with you?

It is the dumbest excuse for photography that I can remember. Get serious. We are adults, for crapsake.

There are better ways to illustrate screen shots of a television than posting an obscenity guaranteed to turn off half the viewers.

It has nothing to do with scanning, a TV does not do that! It has to do with the frame count that is displayed!

To all you whiners, if you didn't like it why did you look.

The op called him a politician doing that even gives politicians a bad name

We looked because we saw the title, and we are open-minded.
Again, really, really, dumb—even if one loves Trump, pictures of him from a TV is really dumb.
Too stupid for any more words.
