dump the DSLRs now, before they lose their value ?
This is massively stupid. Even if the value of every DSLR on the face of the earth dropped to 1 penny, that doesn't mean those DSLRs would stop working. Only a moron would dump their DSLR gear because of a value depreciation.

Mine is nine years old, it has already "lost its value", but to me, just like all my "older" cars, it still has great value to me. More than it would for anyone else. Value is relative.
That site is nothing but a hustle, quickly and sloppily put together to make money by people clicking referral links. Can the text on that page even be called an "article?" What a joke. What value did you see in it that you would post a link to it here?
Knowing will improve their photography at least 300%.
I doubt it. Practicing on the camera you already have is what makes the biggest difference. Knowing what camera someone else is using not so much. Some people think all one needs to do is read about photography to become a better photographer. But that's like saying the more one reads about swimming, the better a swimmer one becomes. It helps, but only to a point.
Mirrorless full frame is the current next big thing that the manufacturers would like you to buy. Has little to do with good photography. If you read and watch enough you come to realise it is just a sales pitch.

Sales pitch:
You use your phone screen already. Adapting this to cameras screen will bring you the world of 'real photography'.
It has nothing to do with 'regular photography' but the need for companies to reach a greater audience. I will not work as it means using two devices against one - folks are intrinsically lazy.
