I bought myself a used Nikon D 800 E from ebay and got it this morning. It is in great condition, no visible wear and tear, under 40k click (good for 200k) and it should last me till death do us part. It will be a while
before I use it, I am still not able to get around very well, with the multiple surgeries that I have had in the past year, it makes it very difficult. Anyway, when I can I will post some shots, God willing.

My primary body is the 800E. You did good—it is a great camera.

Good luck. I'm having problems with mobility as well. Rather arthritic! And at a mere 65.

My D800E is now semi retired with 318,000 clicks on it in favor of my D850. I will never sell the D800E as it was my favorite camera ever for the 4 1/2 years I used it as my primary body.
