Just got the camera today and charged the battery. Wife told me there was a large praying mantis on the porch. Taken at about 2 ft., iso-100, f3.5, 1/250 sec.

I like it. Looks like he is smiling. He was on the porch ceiling. Was holding the camera over my head and looking through the viewfinder about 15 inches away. (Haven't learned how to use live view yet). Auto focus was really fast and spot on. Shot raw (DNG) and tweaked and cropped in Photoshop.
