A couple of weeks ago I went to the Albion Basin area at Alta Ski Resort to get pictures of wildflowers and found that I was too early. Our large snowpack delayed everything. Then, the weekend after I went, the area had a large hail storm. I waited until this Monday in the hopes that flowers that were packed down would be back up. It turns out, only the yellow flowers recovered. The nice sharp reds and blues were decimated.

in the next few days I will post some interesting photos of the visit, but unfortunately, the large fields of flowers were victims of the hail.

These shots show the trail to Cecret Lake that I climbed in hopes of finding some "fields." In the last photo I left the people along the trail for perspective.
