Picasa had a direct connect to E mail. I miss it. Have ACDSee and does not have E mail connect.
Does any program have direct E mail connect?
Thanks in advance!!

Picasa still exists, but the emailing feature is not operational.

It is so easy to email a photo without a "direct connect". I email tons of images and never use a "direct connect".
Here's how: (If you already know this, I apologize. Just trying to help.
1. Open your email program
2. Click on the paper clip or attachment icon
3. Navigate to folder that stores you photo
4. Click the one(s) you want to send
5. Click "Send"

Mark, Thanks!!
Will look into!!

Lightroom emails directly. The first time you use it the application will ask, if I recall, to set up your email. After that you simply click on an image, use the correct command, and send the email. Images for review. I use a Mac so a PC could have some differences.

On the main page (startup) click send and then select how you want to send the pictures after you select which ones to send.

Most email programs have a limit on file size for attachments.
File size not the issue.
Having E mail direct is what I want!!

Email direct is what happens out of LR...I must not understand what you mean.
Have ACDSee and E mail is Mozilla Thunderbird.
When I want to send Pics, have to use"Copy to". Never know when T'bird will show on screen!!
Don't like this setup!!
