A friend of mine wanted to go back and shoot with his Rollie that he hadn't used in over 20 years. Found a roll of film that was still in the camera. Here are a couple of images of me and my dogs taken here at the ranch 20 plus years ago
Skipper and Boaz may be gone but they will always be with us.
This what photography is all about. Our photos take us back to that moment in time.
Thanks Bob
I'm with vonzip on this one, very cool.

Great, a real treasure find.
Memories and the ones we love - human or animal are the most important things we can take with us through life.

Really nice..
I am glad I had the opportunity to visit the ranch.

My 50-60? year old Rollie sits in the closet and I’m continually tempted to have it cleaned and use it again.
I just had some 11x14 metal prints made from a couple of 40 year old scanned negatives and they are breathtaking.

What kind of a mix was the dog in #2? Beautiful companion!
Takes me back some 60 years. I shot my first weddings with an f2.8 Rollei. Saw one listed recently in the B&H catalog priced at $2500.
Those are beautiful dogs and great pictures. Lets imagine that instead of film those images were in digital form but not developed, what do you suppose the odds would be that twenty years later they would have been able to be recovered. That is why I think it is so important to make hard copy prints of images and then write on the back of the picture what it is. Also a photograph that may seem mundane at the time it was made, will become over time something we will treasure. I bet the dogs were great friends and that is a great hat that you are wearing. Is it a Stetson, by chance.
