Pain in the ,,,, here. I run several CNC machines, 3D printers and many other devices all attached/controlled via USB. Almost very Win 10 update completely scrambles my USB ports so none of those devices work after an update because the port numbers have been changed. I have to spend hours trying to reconfigure the USB ports back to what they were before the update so I can get all my devices running again. It's easier to reconfigure in the windows device manager rather than trying to open each individual devices software controller to change the USB addresses to what windows decided it wanted them to be. Thank God I only do this as a hobby now, and don't use these devices in my business anymore as if I had to reconfigure all the devices I had in my former shop, I'd lose at least a day of production just trying to recover from the damage caused by a windows 10 update.
The double update screwed up/changed many things in my settings. Not happy.
