Those are nice images and she is beautiful. Please give her a little behind the ear scratch from me.

What do you think Feral? I think she would appreciate an ear scratch.

Yes, she probably would, but after she gets her nails trimmed. And I know a thing or two about Chihuahuas: They can be monsters for nail trimming! Hopefully this one's as good for everything as she looks like she is.

I don't think she is feral. Dogs that are wild usually form packs. She had been on her own for a while though. We don't live out real far but on a dead end so I don't think she was dropped off. But it was really cold that night and it took a while to warm her up.

Thanks for your reply. We can only speculate on how she ended up at your place. Being such a little gal, I bet she didn't come from too far away. However, looking at her nail, it looks like she was not receiving the care that she should have been getting. If it were me, I would not be making too much of an effort to find her original owner. Also I would think that the original owner would be reaching out with ads in local publications. Give her a little grooming and personal attention, and both your lives, yours and hers will be immeasurably enriched.

We call her Tiny Fox because that is what my wife thought she was when she first saw her. Didn't last but a few seconds. It was after all 3am and she had just woke up.
No don't think she is feral, dogs usually pack up when wild. She had been out for a little while though. Not sure if hunger or the cold drove her to our house. One thing is for sure though, she sure filled a big empty spot in Greta's and my heart.

Thanks keep us posted with an occasional photograph. I am sure that you and Greta are also filling a place in her heart.
