A friend of mine has a Beseler Enlarger for sale. It is new and has never been used. Her dad wasMr William Anderson from Atlanta. He purchased it a couple months ago and passed away. I am trying to get some feedback on selling this for her. I will post pictures tomorrow morning.

That's a good enlarger. If you go to the PHOTRIO film forum you will get folks who are interested.

Good luck. I had a Beseler 45 as my last enlarger at the time I went fully digital, and it took me 2 years to find somebody who would take it - for free. Plus, I had to deliver it. Managed to sell the negative carriers and lens boards to people who were still using one, but nobody wanted to take the fully-functioning chassis. Based on that experience, about 12 years ago, I'd say if you can get ANYthing for the 23C over and above any shipping expenses, you'll be doing well.

I sold an Omega 67 DiChro recently for $275. I sold another for $300 a couple of months ago for good money. Last summer, I sold a Jobo CPE2 processor with lift for $500.

Tell me about all these people who are giving these things away.

Sorry folks. It's ceasing to happen, and my ebay.
business is mostly film and film processing gear.

Why? Film is coming back. Most of my last 25 years on eBay has included mostly film gear that people are giving away, and that others think are worthless. The money I lose on digital, I make back on film camera's and other film gear.

That's what happened to my sister. She had a very professional dark room and I took it all out so that we could remodel that room into something else. We tried high schools, Jr. colleges, the paper, putting a sign on the stuff out front, and nobody wanted it. I'm talking about all the stuff for a dark room. Finally her gardener, which doesn't speak english, inquired about it and took it all. He probably took it all for scrap or took it to a cousin that is a scrap man. Such a shame that such nice stuff would go for scrap.

I have a friend who is a school teacher and her dad was Professor William Anderson. He was a Professional and taught photography at Morehouse College in Atlanta. He recently passed at the age of 87 and his daughter wants to sell some of his equipment. He took excellent care of all his equipment. She said he had recently purchased that Bessler but never got a chance to use it. She is selling some of his equipment and I am helping her. He has a Nikon film camera in excellent condition and looks almost new. I hope to post pictures by Wednesday evening.
