Walking the lakefront

I hace been going to the Chicago lakefront (Lake Michigan). I take my 7D w\lens 50mm 35mm 17-85mm and 70-300mm. I coild sit thier for hours.

1st picture has potential. I would crop off the pavement and a bit off the top, turning it to more of a panoramic shot, concentrating on the foggy buildings and clouds. Crop off the top for the 2nd and third shots. The fourth image has too much cyan - white balance issue? I like the 5th shot of the advancing pier, but could do with a bit of sky cropped off too. The last 2 suffer from motion blur and noise.
