Well, it was bound to happen.....a bug flipped me off

I spent a good bit of time prodding, poking and trying to get this mantis in different poses. I guess it finally had enough and let me know how it felt.

Hand held and in natural light of a Chinese mantis (Tenodera sinensis)...in the wild.

SORRY, this is actually a Carolina mantis (Stagmomantis carolina).

SORRY, this is actually a Carolina mantis (Stagmomantis carolina).


no worries, though different accents............just as effective
