I appreciate your “opinion.” You have an absolute right to that. I watch much more and read much more than that. I also have life experiences that have done more to shape my thinkingthan anything else ever has or ever could. That said, I think the researchers Rachel has are the very best. Likely better than those supporting Congress. I think she is marvelous at her job and am proud to watch her show almost every evening. She speaks always in a manner to decry hatred bigotry, and corruption. How can any one not value that? I lived through the Viet Nam era, have seen some of the worlds worst slums in Nairobi, Nicaragua, Mexico, and some smaller ones in Costa Rica. I have memories of Woodstock and the shootings at Kent State. I went to the Liberal Convention at Case Western Reserve University. I voted for Reagan, the first Bush Twice, the second once. I liked Nixon when young. I feel McCain was a hero, despite merely being captured. I hated his politics, but respected the man. I believe I have seen a lot in my life and find it condescending and insulting for you to feel so smug as to state I am spoonfed any thoughts or beliefs. Mine are and have been hard earned. I be lieve what I believe because I have the freedoms this country has allowed me to be educated, pick a career (I have had many), to travel, read and watch what I want. These freedoms, to include freedom of speech and press are clearly under attack. We now have a cult leader who feels it is his right to determine who should travel and where. Instead of allowing people to visit and learn and maybe resolve differences, he prefers to continue to be devisive. What a great leader! I asked you how you feel about Steve King, a wonderful American. No response! I asked about how you feel about Moscow Mitch selling out his State and Country to allow the Kremlin to have financial and political influence in Kentucky. No answer! Why not? I would be highly interested to hear your take on these two...
Peace, love, and happiness, my friend. I am truly sorry we have been unable to understand our diverse opinions. I understand the attractiveness of your positions to many people, but cannot understand thinking beyond them. That really is my problem, not yours. However, on a different level it is the problem facing us all, this whole Country. I only wish it wasn’t so.
