I'm aware of that, but the libs won't even believe that they have dropped. It hurts their narrative.

Not so fast. The current AR-15 can't be converted to full auto in its current configuration. To convert requires the build of a complete lower receiver assembly; not something a machinist and a mill can do.
None of the accessories available for the AR-15 can make them shoot automatically with a single pull of the trigger. Even the so-called "bump stock" doesn't convert the lower receiver to full auto.
