I have Lightroom 5.7 but was wondering about ON1 people that use it do they like it or dislike it just like to know

Lightroom 5.7 is antiquated compared to the current versions available under creative cloud. On1 Raw 2019 combines most of the capability of Lightroom with much of the capability of Photoshop, including layers and many other features for creative editing. And it is much easier to use for most editing than Photoshop.
Whatever you do, Lightroom 5.7 should become ancient history.

I've used ON1 for some time, and have the latest version - which I like very much. I subscribed to the latest Lightroom/Photoshop for a while, but discontinued it, as I much preferred ON1 (and the file management is far superior to Lightroom in my opinion). I also have several other well-regarded post processing programs, but they don't see much use from me. I think Paint Shop Pro is pretty good, and have the latest version (but not the one just announced a couple days ago). I started with it when it was Jasc, before it became Corel, but hardly ever use it anymore.

Using old versions of any software is not a "best practice" approach if you are serious about photography and your images. However, if you are just taking shots of the grandkids or the occasional odd snapshot now and then what software you use is really not an issue.
If you are going to upgrade, you might consider the pros and cons of the two applications and what it will take you to convert to a totally new application. As others have said, ON1 is a good program and it can certainly assist you in getting the job done as needed. This also applies to Lightroom Classic. You can try out both programs to see which one you like better and which one seems easier for you. If you do switch to ON1 you will have to consider how to handle all of the images you edited in your older version of LR. If you continue on with LR, that will be handled when you open the new program and you can continue to use the same catalog. Give all the pros and cons some thought and then do what is best for YOU.

What is important to you? The DAM? Or just the editing capabilities?
I'm a LR/PS user for a long time and LR (CC Classic) works for me so the temptation to switch to something new is really minimal. Have not tried current versions of ON1.
However, being curious, I googled "on1 dam". The first hit was something dated 2016. The second was more current and had the statement:
"The 2019 version of ON1 Photo RAW, which will be available this November, offers significant enhancements to the migration process for customers looking to switch from Lightroom."
One thing that should be of concern is the edits you currently have in LR. The above referenced website also says:
"To further facilitate bringing existing Adobe Lightroom users into its camp, ON1 Photo RAW 2019 includes a bolstered Lightroom Migration Tool that not only replicates folder, collection and metadata structures but can now also re-apply edits previously made, including local adjustments. While this is a novel approach, it’s worth noting that the actual results can vary because of the inherent differences between Adobe’s and ON1’s Raw processors."
In other words, you will be able to almost preserve your edits or maybe you will be able to preserve your almost edits. It sounds like you will get close results from the new ON1, but not exact. It remains to be seen how close the results will be and of course "close" is subjective anyway. (I'm not sure whether transferring the edits will require you to have .xmp files generated by LR).
So it might be worth a try in November.

I use LRCC, PSCC and ON1 Raw - because when it comes to image editing, no one package can provide the tools I require to do what I do to my images. On1 Raw is not quite ready for prime time - stuff doesn't work that well, sometimes it crashes, the raster editing suite of tools is incomplete. I find retouching, luminosity masking, channel-based masking, etc much easier and cleaner in Photoshop. LR is great as a DAM (digital asset manager), and first step in editing a raw file, but falls short of the precision and accuracy of PS. I like the future direction On1 is taking with their software, and as much as I like it and would like to use it more, I can't. At the moment, I use its Effects module the most, and its portrait enhancement module the least. It is definitely NOT a replacement for LR/PS for me. Your needs and expectations may be different.

As has been pointed out to me, the calendar is not wrong (2 years), it's my head that was wrong! It's approaching ONE year!!! -- still has seen upgrades within that timeframe, however.
