In addition to being a hiking/biking path with unique and creative seating, the Idaho Falls River Walk provides a view of part of the local hydro-electric generation project completed in the 1980s using "Bulb" technology.

The scenic falls were a wonderful subject in the late evening and early morning walking of the dogs.

Also, right across from our Best Western was a great view of the Idaho Temple of the LDS Church.

Beautiful shots, Mike. We are already thinking about making a trip to Idaho again next spring. It is a beautiful state.

I appreciate you looking and the generous comments, Carol. I knew nothing about Idaho Falls, it was just a stop on the way home that turned out to be great fun.

Beauties, Mike. It's hard to believe they could get much power out of falls that small.

Being born and raised in Idaho I have traveled over a lot of it. One of the most beautiful spots in Idaho, in my humble opinion, is in the city of Twin Falls. Shoshone Falls is by far the most beautiful falls I have ever seen. It bigger than Niagara Falls and incredibly beautiful. Lots of wildlife too. The viewing spots they have made give way to some incredible shots! There seems to always be a rainbow to capture too. Its really worth the stop.
