I do believe it is a she! But they are just as greedy and territorial as the males when it comes to a food source.
I they were the size of an eagle the world would be in trouble.

Love hummers. Great shot. I have made myself so obvious to my local hummers that I am able to hold out my hand and they fly up and look at me. I was amazed at how feisty and territorial they are to one another.
