One A Day, Day 035.

Things happen in our lives. If we are not prepared, opportunities can end up slipping through our fingers like water (just to quote an old saw).
A guy I knew had a wife, both were attorneys. Katrina asked me if I could make some images of her before she moved to Cali to be an attorney with Virgin Records. I told her sure.
Then I contacted Glenn her husband who also did photography to find out what was up with them and why he didn't do the photographs himself? They were split up and she was off to Cali to be a mega attorney, he was not interested in what we were doing one bit.
So Katrina showed up and we did some images, not vary exciting. Towards the end Katrina came out in the black skirt black shiny top and black shoes. She looked in the mirror and asked if she should wear the t-back or none. So I said it would look better with out the thin black line running around her hips but it was her call. So off came the T-Back and we finished the session.
Here is the last frame, the only decent image from the session.
There is movement as she was rolling about on the backdrop paper and I wanted that sort of look.
From the original 11X14 toned silver gelatin print, sepia tonner. Kodak Tri-X, Rodinal 1:50/68F 7 minutes and 35mm film in the R-6 Leica 28mm R lens.

Silver is on the subatomic level, pickles are big as the Astro Dome in comparison. So detail is MUCH better with silver. So until the sensors get to be nano technology, better captures!

Film is so artistic. Make sure she’s shaved, rolling around with NO clothes on (except black patent stilettos) and let’s shoot this again and post more than just one shot. What a gifted artist you are; have a little fun on this site (light it up!).

That would just be so wrong! Like asking a super smart doctor, top of her class to play at being a naughty nurse! Oh the humanity! And she never got paid for the modeling, of course she was worth over a million in a trust fund at 18.
