Hi my name is Patricia, new here and hope to learn more about photography! Been taking pictures for a few years now and want to get serious about it. I have my first photo shoot with a family on Oct 29th. I do great taking pictures of animals but not so good with people. LOL

I think animals are harder to photograph then people.

Maybe it was just luck than but I always seem to get the aniamls with little or no problems it's just the people that don't seem to look as good after.

Maybe U should try your animal techniques on the people and see what happens.....LOL

Maybe I can get the people to act like the animals and than everything should go great. LOL

What problems do U have with people.....is it posing,or getting them comfortable with the camera.....sometimes people kind of freak out when U stick a camera im their face

It's more them not relaxing. They just look posed and unnatural. The kids I have taken turned out pretty good but the adults not so good.

You have to create a relaxed mood.....even if it is as simple as telling a corny joke......with kids it 's good to have a few props to get their attention.Baby shots I have someone stand behind me with a flashlight and blink it on and off to get their attention
