New Hummer

I haven't seen this one before. It stuck around for maybe 30 seconds so I had enough time to fire off a bunch of shots. I haven't looked at all of them yet.

That part of the yard was already in bright sun. I used TTL flash...(-1.7 I think) to stop the motion as the shutter was at 1/250s...too for this type of shot.

Great hummer capture. Would you consider cropping it to a horizontal so the hummer has something to fly to?

Beautiful. Very sharp. Nice bokeh. I'm assuming there is a feeder in front of him that you didn't want in the frame? That's why a lot of mine are cropped short in front of hummers. I'm pretty sure it's a juvenile male. Any way, it's a great shot, Joe.

Yes, nearby objects often determine the crop format.

Great shot of the hummer. I have yet to do so good!
