I'm on vacation and was sitting on the beach yesterday. I heard this bird belting out its whistle, so I grabbed the camera to see if I could find it. According to the Audubon Society site, they are in serious decline and really shouldn't be in my area. I hope you enjoy these. Gary

Thank you very much. Photo taken in South Dartmouth, Ma. right next to Buzzards Bay. This bird has been seen taking early morning walks on the beach. Quite unusual for this species. Gary

Thank you very much saxman. I bring it to the beach all the time. I keep it in a dry bag to protect it from sand and salt air (for the most part). Gary
