Wow Dave these are absolutely amazing shots! Tack sharp with perfect lighting. So well done. Your Blue Dasher is a very mature male Eastern Pondhawk (Erythemis simplicicollis). Best field mark is his green frons ("face").

Well darn Doc, guess color can be deceiving! Thanks for the correction. So, if the eyes are that bluish green color it is a pond hawk and if they are that maroonish color then I have a dasher?
