A Duck Walks Into a Bar........Graham

A duck walks into a bar and says to the bartender, "I'd like to buy some peanuts." The bartender says, "Sorry, don't sell peanuts." The duck leaves.
The next day, the duck returns and again says, "I want to buy some peanuts." The bartender replies, a bit gruffly this time, "I already told you I don't sell peanuts." The duck leaves.
The next day, the duck comes in once again and yet again demands, "I want to buy some peanuts!" The outraged bartender yells back, "I told you, I don't sell peanuts! If you ask one more time, I'll nail you to the wall!" The duck leaves.
The next day, the duck walks into the bar and before the bartender can say a word, the duck asks, "Do you have any nails?" The bartender looks taken aback and says quietly, "Sorry, don't have nails." The duck asks, "Well then, do you have any peanuts?"

A duck wearing a hard hat strolls into a bar, climbs up on a stool and places the hard hat on the stool next to him.
The bartender greets him and asks:
“What’ll you have?”
Duck: “A beer please”
Bartender puts the beer down and says:
“So, you’re in construction?”
Duck:”Yeah...bricklayer. Workin’ on that site down the street”
Bartender: “Sounds like good, steady work”
Duck: “Usually is but this job’s about to wrap up and I don’t have anything lined up yet”
The bartender can’t believe he’s actually having a conversation with a duck and starts thinking about a way he might be able to make some money off the duck’s unique talent. Then he gets a great idea:
Bartender: “Well, if you’re looking for work there’s a circus coming to town next month and they might be able to use a duck with your skills. You gotta admit you are a bit unusual”
Duck: “You mean a circus with animals and clowns and all that stuff? Big tents and all that?”
Bartender: “Yeah...it’s a really big show”
He’s thinking about the money he can make as the duck’s agent and says:
“The owner’s been in here a few times when he’s in town. If you like, the next time he comes in I’ll tell him about you and see if he thinks he can use you”
Duck...a little hesitant, stares at his beer for a minute and says:
“Okay. Go ahead and talk to him but WTF does a circus do with a bricklayer!?”
The bartender greets him and asks:
“What’ll you have?”
Duck: “A beer please”
