While shooting this lovely green heron I noticed a few dragonflies buzzing around. Green kept looking up but didn't think much of it as there was also a kingfisher buzzing around trying to get him to move, and then it happened, he snatched them mid air!! Whoa! 1st time I've seen that AND caught pics. Usually they're eating small fish.

I do love the dragonflies but also the green herons. They do have to eat, right? Nice sequence.

Green herons are one of my favorites subjects. I've witnessed this but, never captured it.....or at least clearly. Lol.
