Really great shots.
Mind sharing details of the camera and lens?
Thanks for asking.
These images were taken with the Sony A7R3 and 100-400 4.5-5.6 GM lens. I'm mostly a home body and shoot from my deck into the back yard. This combination is easily hand hold able but prefer to use a tripod or mono pod. Much of the time I use an on camera Godox flash with extender attached.
I have learned long ago it is easier to have the birds come to me than to chase after them. Put out a variety of food and some water...soon they will come.
I also shoot birds with the A6400 and this lens. It provides more reach and better focus. The image quality is very good but not as good overall as the A7R3. When conditions are good one would be hard pressed to see a difference.
Love little Backyard Birds.
