You didn't disappoint ME, Dancers … but, I'll bet you disappointed yourself, somewhat - eh?
Anyway - to buck up your spirits, a bit … here's yet ANOTHER "Bay" pic - w/ many docks!!!
A TRUE Bay, w/ Docks, at Lake Waramug, Litchfield Cty., CT

I could live in a place like that, at least in summer.
Lake Waramug - has gotta be one of the best kept secrets in Connecticut!!!
It's about halfway between New Milford and Litchfield - but, OFF the beaten path - you know?
It's kinda like a private community (like Candlewood Isle, here, in New Fairfield) but, it's not!
It actually has a park grounds - which is open to everyone. But, it's a bit of a trek!
One could see it, being used by the NYC crowd - summers, but, it's really NOT a commute, at all …

Nice.
Yeah, this one IS neat, Richard - 'cause the guy's looking out across the water …
Most ones I catch with people on or near this dock - they're fishing …
This is another one of my favorite places to shoot - a house here on Ball Pond …
Caught it, this time without anyone on the dock (not always the case, however.)

Those bright lights on the horizon waiting for ships to enter the port of Newcastle.
Very nice, Richard … but that's really a pier - no?
Gotta be a dock - on a bay … like this >
Lake Candlewood inlet - at park in Sherman
Richard Taylor .., that’s quite a shot bud ....

What have you got to show?
Not really much of a Dock … not really much of a BAY, either … well - depends on min. dimensions, huh?
But, I thought this one neat enough, to deserve inclusion, here ...
He's just getting finished re-painting the house - see?
I only hope he gets to that Dock, next ... after he's through!!!!
This'll be the last (if I ever get it up! … been trying for an hour-and-a-half, now!)

You seem to have been able to post a lot of your images on this thread.
Are you aware that all we can see here is the 600x400 thumbnail? If we download that we end up with a 78KB file.
You would get that if you lower the resolution to 600x400 and saved the JPEG at about 85%
before you transmit it. Then you should have no trouble uploading the image than you have downloading all of the thumbnails you are looking at.
Or, like everyone else, you could get rid of your dial up ISP and use a real provider. It's not as though cable or even fiber optic service is not available in Connecticut.
We have to wonder why you have not solved your own problem.

Tribute to Otis Redding, I guess. Nah ... just post whatever you have to fit the idea …
Unlike my LAST Posted Challenge - this one is NOT limited to just one pic … post as many as you want.
This one will run through Labor Day ….
BTW - this is NOT my best pic of this scene, but, I came across it, pretty quickly …
Here's my contribution. It got an honorable mention in my local newspaper's photography section. Kids were sitting on the pier but I chose to take their reflection instead.
Beautiful day in Plymouth,Ma
