I will leave the story to your imagination. As for processing, everything in this image is something I personally shot with my camera, except the fog and texture. I hope you enjoy it.

Lovely image, Keni!

The only thing I think could be improved is the hard, straight line at the bottom of the dress. If you do that, you’ll probably also want to soften the left line of the skirt.

As AndyH commented, the bottom of the woman's dress could do with some work. As it is she looks a bit like a cutout. And as well as looking like she's floating, she also looks like she's a bit translucent. Perhaps a touch of shadow to ground her a bit might help.

If this is your daydream, I can not wait to see your nightmares.... you have the eye/mind to mix components to give a flavor rarely seen. You, kenievans, rank high in my gotta see photo creators.

Kenie, this is a marvelous creation. The tones and textures are exquisite. I couldn't decide if the lady was meant to be a spirit or not but there is a strong feeling of emotion.

That is my thought precisely - a very ethereal, wistful image but the hard lines of the skirt seem out of sync with the rest. Overall, a wonderful image and, as usual, great PP work!

Thank you Andy! I was hoping the fog would help soften it. I have something else in mind to try though.
