No water in the area, but i do have my deer pail full of available water for the pets and wildlife.

We actually had 3 fawns born this year.. our deer population is on the decline here. Too many hunters in the sub.
But these guys are the cutest things walking.

Hi Bill,
The original herd had moved on, Don't know if its because of the hunters sitting down in the pines waiting for them to move through or if its because of predators that have moved in. It could be a combo of both.
So i have only seen a few Doe's that stay put here and this year we have only 3 fawns born in the sub. One was born right here on my property and i discovered it when i was mowing the tall weeds. That one had a very rough start with weather and all. But it pulled thru and is growing like a weed.
It was just by chance that I was able to get some shots of yesterday's fawns. Hopefully there will be more opportunities for my getting some shots of them.
