The Parents don't "chase them away." They stick around close by
and continue to feed them until they learn to hunt for themselves.

Very nice, Jan! They have the same fierce look but not as pretty as their adult coloring will be.

Larry, I know that...I've been photographing these Eagles for quite a few years...and these fledglings have been fed for a while after leaving the nest and the parents are going to be chasing them off before too long.
