Cow Moose at Schwabacher's Landing

Taken with 24-70mm as cow moose walked up to me way too was too close and if it had a calf I would have bailed out quick. I grabbed a few quick shots and moved on.

Good photos. You can tell they are pissed off when they lay their ears back and the ruff on their shoulders is raised. She looks pretty laid back. But they can be very dangerous. You were smart to be cautious.

Cindy, I did not see a calf plus she seemed to be a 1 1/2 year old cow that rarely has a calf in tow.

Chief, I watch a lake full of fly fishers bail out the when a cow with 2 calves walked out to feed. You do not wait for her give you a sign it may be too late.
