Hi: I realized that I never properly introduced myself, my name is Cheryl. I've been taking photos for a long time. My father left me with great equipment to start with and showed me how to use a camera, a little pocket 110. He always said that I should document things as they change so rapidly and when I get old, I will be able to see where I've been in my life.
My love of sunsets got me started at age 12 and I still love photographing them. I also enjoy landscape photography, close up photography, people photography, etc. Just about anything. I carry a camera around my neck most of the time, "don't leave home without it." I have enjoyed reading all the comments and looking at the beautiful photos. I have two grown kids. Here's a photo of us that my friend took when our son was home on leave.
