My name is Ric, and am brand spanking new to this. I hope to learn much, and take great photos as observed in this forum. I am starting out with a Nikon D7000 with a couple DX lenses. Any suggestions for a newbie are welcome. Thanx.

Welcome Ric. I suggest that instead of planning or expecting to learn from UHH postings, get some good books on digital photography and read them and learn at your own pace. The Digital Photography Book series by Scott Kelby is an excellent set of books for learning digital photography. They are easy to read and follow and cover everything you need to know.
