For the second straight year the WWII Reenactment in Deerfield, NH is a huge success.

I can't imagine WWII combat vets have much interest in remembering or reenacting the battles.

Great set! You should try the Remagen Bridge reenactment held in Tidioute, Pa the first weekend in August (they will be doing "Market Garden" this year).

I was reminded of this song by The Clancy Brothers; after the 5 minute mark, you'll know why.

I would think they would be very happy. They survived.

I don't think it is combat vets that do this but others who are interested in combat history. After all our combat vets have been there-done that.

Yes thats correct so that the younger generation can have an idea as to what our veterans went through so that todays youth can act the way they do.

With respect I am not sure if you are being sarcastic or not. Having served two tours in Vietnam courtesy of the USMC I don't think our youth act the way the way they do because of anything having to do with military reenactments. Nor will they have much of an idea of what actual combat is from watching reenactments. However they would get an idea of uniforms worn, weapons used and possibly tactics if they paid attention.
