Sorry, but you said you "went off into the mountains" but there is a feeder in one image? Did you pack it with you?

Very nicely done! My experience is that hummingbirds can be pretty difficult subjects. These are very good images. You might try faster shutter speeds to see the effect....e.g. 1/3200 and open the aperture.

Thanks for your comments.I did try a variety of speeds and selected 1/250 as the best,although I did not try 1/3200 and open aperture.I will in future shooting.
