Relatively new to Ugly Hedgehog and getting back into photography. Previously i wasn't too passionate about photography - now enjoying it tremendously.

Thank you. Alaska sunsets are stunning in the spring and fall as the sun will stay below the horizon for an extended period providing beautiful colors. The first photo was taken with a Hoya FMC filter to get the purple hue. The third photo was taken in March and the material in the ocean is sea ice breaking up.

Thanks Terry. I took that photo last night. Today it is overcast and gloomy - no sunset photo opportunities tonight.

Great shots. Love sunsets and sunrises.
Took a few "sunsets' when we there a year ago.
Funny - I call it a "sunset" but it was 10:30 at "night"
