1941 Cadillac, 62 Series, 4-Door Convertible
Last one produced before WWII. Next was 1946. My dad had a 47 two door coup. I loved that car... Had style

My Uncle Bunk had one of these.
I remember coming back from the Texas State Fair in Dallas in 1948 with the top down, Daddy and Uncle
Bunk in the front seat and my older brothers James and Thomas in the back seat with me.
We were speeding with the top down when a Highway Patroman, that's what they called them at that time
in Texas, stopped us for speeding.
He didn't give us a ticket; I think he thought we were having too much fun.
The next year I started to school.
Life was good in our part of America in 1948.
