I thought I would drop by and let everyone know I’m still kicking out here in Albuquerque.
I shot this with my Celestron C8 SCT using the Celestron 236c color CMOS camera.
I shot 5000 frames at 60 FPS and stacked 20% in Autostakkert2. I adjusted wavelets in Registax6 with a final touch up in Photoshop CC.
Hope everyone is doing well.
Great to hear from you, I was wondering if we would get any planets from you.
Thank you Europa.
Between clouds and smoke from fires, I have been having a bear of a time getting decent photos.
Jupiter has been up early and I have been able to get a few videos to process but not as cleanly as I would like.
I have been trying to get really nice seeing to try and image the GRS losing material into the jet stream.
A friend of mine has been getting some really images but he is not in the US and has had much better seeing.
That is a great shot ! Good to hear from you
...this really is great...the fact that you can see the shadow of the planet on its rings....
I must say , you pulled a hoo dini on Saturn after all that smoke, I can imagine the frustration , Saturn has nice color and the cassini div. in the rings is awesome. Did you know that Saturns rings are younger than previously thought? Cassini data says so.
