I don't have any experience of using brushes to apply a synthetic fog - I was assuming that adding whispiness would be one of their main characteristics and that it would be something that could be enhanced (and if it isn't, it should be ).

Oh ok! I misunderstood. Thanks for the clarification. Maybe I just need better fog brushes. The are pretty one dimensional. My cloud brushes are great and do allow for some whispiness depending on the brush I choose.

I like the bird you have added, Did you do the fog on a separate layer? If so I think it would look better if it was erased from the trees in the front of the picture as then it might look more natural as it seems to cover some of the trunks and not others..
