My house is under the approach path to Sea-Tac Int'l. Airport, ~20 miles away. There aren't many Boeing 747s flying anymore, but this British Airways big boy arrives from London every afternoon. He's about 2,000' up at this point.
I'm looking for best settings for my visit to the Abbotsford Air Show (in British Columbia) in a couple weeks. These are 1/2000 sec., auto-ISO (at ~600), with my ancient 500 MM, f/8 (fixed) Nikkor reflex tele. on my D850. I think I'll try 1/3000 sec. tomorrow.
Nice photos, Rich. We have one that flies into Phoenix every afternoon/evening. Nice lens, too.
