I really enjoyed seeing these. I particularly like 5 and 6. I very unexpectedly encountered a group at Barker Dam in Joshua Tree. With the temp at 100 degrees, I had taken refuge behind a boulder and when I emerged they were there. With a 24-105 I was unable to get the kinds of close shots I wanted, however I did watch them for a good hour, having positioned myself as close as I dared.

Thank you so much! Even though you were not able to get the kind of pictures you wanted ...but WOW....what an experience and memories!
