Tyler, I love your Juvie Cooper's Hawks series. Also - going thru your series gave me a thought. The Cornell Lab of Ornithology is always looking for photos of birds to post for showing those who are looking for help IDing the different birds on their website. Their website is "allaboutbirds'. It might be worth checking with them since photos of juvies are not as easy to come by. Your photos have helped me as I learn to identify raptors at their various stages of development!!

These are Red Shouldered Hawks. The male brings the food, in this case a frog. The female waits in the nest with the three young ones for the food. The female then tears the food into pieces and feeds it to the young. Between hunts the male keeps guard over the nest. The photos aren't the greatest because of low light and distance but it provides a god view of the hawks.

I'm sorry I took so long to reply. The thought of submitting photos to allaboutbirds never occurred to me. Thanks for suggest it. I will look into it. I am familiar with website and it would be a thrill to see one of my photos there.
