Botany Bay is a state conservation area on Edisto Island South Carolina. It was an old plantation which had gone through several owners, the last of which donated the land to the state as a conservation area. The beach is loaded with shells, but no shelling is allowed and almost everyone leaves them be. Volunteers patrol the beach for turtle nests and numerous ones are on the beach and protected with nets to keep predators away.

All the shots are really great, but the last one is exceptional. Really nice shooting.
