Nice! But in my town, when the speed limit is 35mph, you still need to drive 35mph, and my 12 year old, 5-speed Honda Fit will go just as fast as that Maserati at 35mph any day... : )

You are absolutely correct. But in the Maserati you could do that 35mph mentally at 180mph and still be having a great day.

Well stated. And for a whole lot less purchase price and upkeep expense, too. Can you imagine the cost of insurance for that thing?

Nice pictures, thanks.

That long front end must be for speed but I thought most Maserati's were about handling and not so much for extreme speed. I know of a fellow how had driven many fast cars and loved to do the 180 degree brake and spin around to come out of the smoke back at you. The police hate it. He was very good at it until he bought a Maserati and went to spin it, it didn't and he met his demise. Most of these cars are exceptional handlers. My days of having very low to the road vehicles is about to end, small animal collisions are to expensive and in by truck days wouldn't have damaged anything!

I certainly wouldn't parking that in a Walmart parking lot - or anywhere else.

For a measly $80-100K you can get the Dodge Challenger Hellcat Redeye. Does 0-60 in 3.7, top speed 203mph. a lot more affordable.

I WANT one! Amazing the it is street legal in the USA. 205 mph top end and 0-62 in 3.8 seconds. WOW! Thanks for sharing.

Me too!
Just Coming to Chicago to pick up my grandsons, and was in bumper to pumper traffic for two hours.

Don, I would, but since I have no drivers license after my stroke, I am sorry.

Beautiful car, nicely photographed. To put the performance in context with current cars is interesting though. My son in law bought a new Alfa Romeo Quadrifoglio a few months ago for around $75k. It's a 4 door sedan, about the size of a BMW 3 series (which is what he replaced with it). It has a twin turbo 2.9 liter V6 with 505 HP (essentially a Ferrari V8 minus two cylinders), does 0-60 in 3.8 seconds and tops out at 191. And did I mention that it's a 4 door sedan??????
