Fits me to a "T"

I was listening to the radio the other day and the DJ said that Oldie Goldie’s would be starting tomorrow morning. The good old 50s and 60s I said. So stay tune to this station for all your 80s sounds. Right there and then I felt so old.

Feel old when you drop off the baby sitter in the mid 80s and a hit comes on the radio and I stated that Led Zeppelin was one of my favorite groups.
She said "Who?"....
(I should have said , no, that's another group.....)
I like George Carlin's line... something like this:
Here's a hit that's really moving on the charts.
This morning it was number 25, this afternoon it was number 3,
and now it's a golden oldie.

My neighbor was the drive-time DJ for KRTH 101, the local Los Angeles Oldies station. He was into the Beatles and regularly played them and 1950's - early 1970's rock and roll. He was recently retired because the station now considers oldies the 1980's-1990's. I guess we can kiss off the big band sounds of the '40's.

That's me to a tee only the 60's.
My wife and I just completed a long road trip and passed the time listening to 50s and 60s music. There were very few songs we didn’t recognize and for most we could sing along with no problem. Plus, a lot of the songs triggered great memories of times in our lives before we knew each other.😊
I was going to send something witty----but I forgot what is was.

Yeah - - except my lyrics would be from the late 60's
