As promised attached are two recent hummingbird photos taken today. I'm starting to get the hang of this.
I have been experimenting with various lens. All lenses can be made to work but some work a little better.
Today I used a cz 85mm f/1.4 on my A99II camera. I'm starting to get the hang of how the auto-focus works on that camera. One of the things I like about this lens is that DxO PhotoLab 2 makes the digital module for this lens and the lens provides the distance it was from the subject. In this case I was about 3 feet away.
As always, they are worth the time to download them and see them full screen.
To head off the question always asked:
Shutter speed = 1/250 seconds
ISO = 400
f/18
Six Godox radio controlled flashes set to 1/128 power.
I wish I had a male visiting my feeder but I don't.
Unlike some other very good photographers doing similar work with multiple birds and flowers, I do not use PhotoShop layers. This is a real photo taken with a camera.
