I would like to travel on the east coast this September or October. Can anyone suggest the best locations for landscape and animal life shots?

The east coast of the United States is 2,000 miles long 😊 Perhaps you're asking about a smaller country? You have an hour to edit your opening query.

East Coast is a big area? can you narrow it down a bit? Personally we are heading to NH and Maine some time in that period, and probably to VA also.

I'd go with Xanadu's suggestion...Northeast is the place.

Sorry for not being more specific. I want to travel to the North East. Looking for some remote lakes, mountain and animal life shots

Acadia Park on the coast of Maine is very scenic. Not sure what kind of animals you have in mind. NH has the highest mountain in the NE and is not far from the Maine coast.

I would suggest Hudson Valley and Adirondacks. Not only will you find everything you are looking for, but there are wonderful places to visit with historical interest. You will not only find your photo ops but also have the benefits of going to..and learning something as well. There is someplace and something different around every corner.

Start out at the bronx Zoo. Best animal photo opportunities in the US. Then go north. Up State Ny has everything that New England has in the fall foliage dept. And upstate can hold a better candle in the Landscape department than any other N.E. location, from Niagra to the Finger lakes. to the Adorandaks. I love NY__ to coin a phrase.
