Ladies choice shoot!

It was a Dexter inspired theme. That was fine, only one problem, I don't do TV so I did not know what or who Dexter was! So I got that information from VADA. Weird. It's why I don't much do TV. As my English friend Paul Rudolph use to say "BOORING!!!"

So to make things fun for VADA and Kat I covered the studio with plastic, added some extra round several sides and so VADA got tied to a tall ladder. Kat is nutty as she can be and enjoys 'mayhem' shoots. Big plastic syringes and several quarts of fax blood! I had to finally 'free' VADA so she could get loads of 'blood' all over Kat. I did make one mistake, I put the camera away and so with out a syringe I got 'bloodied' a bunch before I wrestled bloody Kat to the floor and gave her a full load in her long hair.

Yes silly time but we all had fun!

Interesting. I could see it hanging in a gallery and everyone pretending not to look at it a few dozen times. You've also reminded me that I want to shoot with Saran Wrap again. I think I'll leave out that fake blood.

Sorry, too gory for my liking. I don't think we need to promote this type of photography.

Nobody cares what you think we need to promote. Art comes in many forms. I guess you will tell us what to read too. Maybe we should burn the art and books you don’t like.

Please lighten up on the trolls, it never gets you any where. Remember, on the internet, "Don't feed the troll!"

I get comments all the time and boy do I want to respond, but I learned years ago from my cat (I really mean a kitty) go take a nap and chill out. Reflect on what is what from the distance of a good nap.

Mostly it is better to follow the teachings of Mr. Natural when he told Flakey Foont in an addition of Head Comics*, "It don't mean sh** Flakey!"

* Thank God for R. Crumb!

Mr. Natural by R. Crumb.

Timmer's thank you for the reminder. I have been feeding the Trolls a lot lately. Shame on me.

It is what happens to people who feel passionately about life. No shame for sure, I'd rather feel deeply about life then just act the roll of passing through. Some members think I'm a looney, their pretty much correct, it is the passion that makes the whole trip worth while; no vanilla for me, unless I can add all the toppings till it ain't vanilla no more! LOL!!!

Missing that VADA chick...but she is having fun in London! But I always got Mr. Bubbles!

I care what I think. I am not in any way telling you what to like or dislike; merely expressing my opinion in what I believe is a much more polite manner.

Photo #1, Yes, well, I saw this Ad in Harbor Freight... They sold a lot of their multi-purpose ladders that weekend.

"Dexter inspired theme" Yes, Dexter is a great series, every episode a cliff-hanger. A friend commented to me, how can you watch that [Dexter], yet the same friend watched movies like Dirty Harry which were just as bloody with less imagination.

Hoggers are acutely sensitive to any perceived censorship. You are absolutely entitled to your opinion about any posted photo. And, that should be respected. But, your last sentence about what to promote or not on this site pushed some buttons and elicited overly negative responses. There are lotsa photos that I find underwhelming or in poor taste, but to start a pissing contest about them just brings out the rancor, so I just don’t comment beyond whether they appeal to me, not whether they are appropriate.

I like it for what it is. I probably wouldn't display it in my home, but I can appreciate it for the art that it is. I don't like a lot of Picasso's work, but that doesn't mean it's not art. And personally, if you don't like it, try remembering what your grandmother taught you..."If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all." That is, assuming you HAD a grandmother.

I have resisted saying that too many people of a certain political bent have a burning desire to tell those who do not agree with them lock-step, what to do and not to do, what to say and not to say, what to believe and not to believe. Sorry. It's not me, babe. No, No, No, it's not me, babe. It's not me you're lookin' for. Babe.

Keep exciting pixels, Tim.

Interesting that sometimes there is such an obscene reaction to some who criticise a particular post. Perhaps I am wrong but every photographer that I have know wants to show his work to others and I assume wants to create responses in the viewer. Other than for some clearly obscene or gory stuff I try to comment in a way that tells the poster what I and I assume some others like so they can tune their work. Isn't that why photos are posted here?
Perhaps we should limit our comments to the quality of the post rather than attack the poster. We should also be adult enough to accept criticism so we can grow.
