I think you will find that the unfortunate comments made by the ambassador were his personal ones illegally leaked and the culprit is being looked for. But if you wish to look for someone not minding there own business look no further than Trump who has repeatedly meddled in our politics over here for example stating which candidate he thinks is best for us and what he thinks our policy should be on leaving the EU which is nothing to do with him or the US.

Well, the ambassador has resigned, our president may be petulant but he is effective, as far as Brexit, I guess it just depends on what you want to see for your country, here in the states during our founding the idea was for the states to retain their sovereignty and the central government to be weak, over time that was flipped on its head, the EU in my opinion attempts to make each of the European countries into states under a central government and over time those countries will lose more and more of their sovereignty, if that is the future you want then push for another Brexit v**e.
