The flash drive is pluged into my computer and Auto run shows. When I try to save them, only the window to save them pops up to save to the computer... Can anyone PLEASE HELP me? THANK YOU. Tony

Why save or save as? Just copy and paste. Select the photos, right click and select copy. Go to flash drive and folder where you want them and right click and choose paste. Basic explorer stuff.

If you use something like Windows 7 you can drag and drop as well. Just click on the folder they are stored under on the computer and then drag it onto the flash drive where it will be listed on the left side where it shows all the folder and such. If you want specific pics hold down the ctrl button and click on those you want with the mouse and then drag and drop them to the flash drive. It automatically copies them there. (I love this feature on windows 7 it makes moving things around so much easier.) I use this process all the time except that I drag and drop to a folder from my SD cards.

Right. I've been copying files that way for years. Just hold Ctrl and drag the folder. Holding Ctrl and clicking individual images works with any version of Windows. Also, you can hold Shift, click the first image and then go down and click the last image you want, and they will all be highlighted for moving or copying.

When you right click on thumbnail does a window open with a 'send to' option? Does the flash drive show? Usually at the bottom of the list.

Oh yeah, forgot about Vista. Never had a computer with it, but used one with it. It seemed to be the same, but I didn't use it that extensively. Like Jerry said too you can use the click on the first one and then hit Crtl+Shift and while holding that click on the last pic and it will do all in between. Best of luck moving things from XP to Vista, I had to move things from an external drive to my Windows 7 from XP set up when my hard drive died on my old computer. I feel lost now if I have to try to navigate a computer with XP and would have never thought that before.

Nope don't really remember DOS. Mainly I have used 95, 98, XP, and Windows 7. Those are the main Windows systems that were on school computers. WindowsXP was out and I had a computer at home with it before most of my writing and english assignments were required to be turned in that way. Now it's funny because you would have thought the world had exploded if you handed an assignment in college that wasn't typed.

I went to school pre-computer, and typed my assignments on a small portable typewriter. "Delete" was accomplished with an eraser. :D

I have used a typewriter. Not seriously, like for assignments and such, but my mom had one at school before she was allowed a computer. I loved to play on it. In fact I might still be interested in using one if it were easier to come by the ribbons for them. Lately though I have been writing in a notebook with a pencil. I almost forgot what that was actually like. My handwriting could use some work after the last few years of pretty much only using the computer.
