I was out in Golden Gate Park again last weekend and on the 4th. These were my favorites.

Quite a stunning arrangement of flora!
These look like you were either underwater or on mushrooms; either way, I think they're interesting and creative. Looks like a fantasy world.
It would be interesting if you posted the original raw image along with the “cooked” image.
But, very good. I have been dabbling in IR, too. Some color, I have a Fuji X-T10 with a 590nm filter. But mostly B&W, I also have a Nikon D7000 with an 830nm filter.
A nice photographer named Patricia Ridenour got me hooked on IR, back in the film days. I shot a lot of Kodak HIE and was very disappointed when Kodak discontinued it. Part of the reason, I guess, why I work mostly B&W.
Again, nice photos!
The colors are wild, but I like them.

Thanks. I shot a lot of B&W IR film in 35mm and 4x5. I didn't like the color IR film with the red sky which was just too far removed from reality. When I saw the digital IR with the red-blue channel swap, I had to try it, and I was hooked. I have little interest in digital B&W IR, because when I tried it, I couldn't equal the B&W IR film I shot and printed back in the day.

I did, a while back, post some color IR photos, different ones, with the RAW file and after the channel swap:

Thanks for sending me the link to your other stuff. It was very informative and interesting. You do good work.

#2 immediately brought to mind "Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory" from '71. Great images.
I really like the colors on these shots, John, like a strange new world.
Spectacular! Do you mind telling us what IR conversion you got and where?

I got my old studio workhorse Nikon D2X converted by Lifepixel with their Enhanced Color filter, which I think is 665 - my second camera converted with that filter. I didn't want one of their filters with more color, because I wanted to control the color and saturation myself. I use a. custom white balance on sunlit grass, and do the red/blue channel swap, and work on the colors from there.
Nothing false about my accolades for these shots!
